Belen’s portrait session was an absolute dream. Right off the bat it was clear that she was looking for a location with lush greenery, which can be a challenge to find in the winter in Arizona. Some scouting revealed that Boyce Thompson Arboretum was the perfect location for her session, it provided the greenery she envisioned, while offering a variety of interesting backdrops.

Going into the session Belen was nervous she would come off as “awkward” as she is typically more introverted. I encouraged her to bring along someone to be her “hype person” and assured her we were going to have a blast. At the end of the day Belen was amazed by the location, and was completely at ease, and you can see her laughter and playful energy radiates in her images.
