Nine Birds is an Artisan Jewelry Studio based in New Jersey. Every piece is handcrafted by the studio's owner Sonya Maizel with the intent to bring magic and sparkle to buyers' everyday lives.  For this project, we decided to introduce Collection Styling to allow for a more cohesive launch. We coordinated 3 separate shoots around each collection’s style so that Sonya could create individual lookbooks for each collection.

“Heavenly Bodies” - we wanted to highlight the celestial theme of the collection, while incorporating some more formal elements in the wardrobe to suit the collections name.

"Gem’s and Geometrics” - for this collection we styled the wardrobe with deep tones to bring out the finishes and colors of the pieces. We also incorporated lots of texture to compliment the hammered pieces, and more earthy feel of the raw gems.

“Resin” - these pieces are all neutral tones with gold detailing. I wanted to remain neutral with our location and wardrobe styling to coordinate with the pieces and allow those gold details to pop. The textures of our location perfectly paired with the textures found in the pieces, complimenting them while also drawing the viewer's eye immediately.
