Nine Birds is an Artisan Jewelry Studio based in New Jersey. Every piece is handcrafted by the studio's owner Sonya Maizel with the intent to bring magic and sparkle to buyers' everyday lives. 

For this shoot we were photographing modeled images of the Nine Birds Summer Collection. I wanted to ensure we remained true to the minimalistic / clean aesthetic of the brand, while showcasing the delicate geometric pieces.

We utilized a neutral color palette for the wardrobe, allowing the finishes and textures of the jewelry to draw the viewers focus. The pastel background and warm lighting add to the summery tone of the images, with lighting details used to incorporate the “magic and sparkle” Sonya has emphasized in her brand.
